a) All students will be screened by their Instructors upon entering the gym. Any students who are feeling unwell or show signs of illness will be sent home.

The screening questions (provided by Fraser Health) will be:

i) Do you have any of the following symptoms: Fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath and painful swallowing, stuffy or runny nose, loss of sense of smell, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, or loss of appetite?

ii) Are you, or anyone you are living with, either sick, self-isolating, or quarantined?


b) Hands will be washed BEFORE & AFTER each class. A washroom will be available, but students are encouraged to use their home washrooms BEFORE attending class.


c) Changing rooms will NOT be available for use during this time, please arrive dressed in your uniform.


d) Shoes will remain in a marked space in the reception area.


e) Students will have a sectioned area for training. Classes will be structured to have NO PHYSICAL CONTACT. We will not be using shared equipment (ie. heavy bags or crash mats). Individual target pads will be used throughout the class for each student. Target pads will be sterilized before and after each training session.


f) Weapon Training - All Black Belt Club, Master Club and Black Belt members are to bring their own weapons. We will NOT be lending gym weapons or have students share weapons.


g) There will be a 15-minute transition time between classes. We ask that students wash their hands and exit quickly so we can properly sanitize and prepare for the next class to begin. Doors will not open for the next class until all have EXITED from the previous class.


h) To minimize contact, no viewers or parents will be permitted to enter during the class time. You are welcome to view the class from outside.
