Spring Tournament
Sun Hang Do’s Annual Spring Tournament takes place every May. Competitors compete in patterns, weapons, sparring and grappling as they strive to sharpen their competitive spirit. This event is open to all our members from beginners to advanced members and all age levels. Witness students at their finest and enjoy the Main Event Demonstrations which are always a highlight of this event.
Day Camp
Train with your friends for a day or a whole week! Fun martial art games and awesome Sun Hang Do techniques! Call your local school for details on this great event for your child!
Demo Team
Through their hard work and dedication, the Black Belt Demo Team displays the benefits of training in Sun Hang Do to audiences across the Lower Mainland. A few of their performances include: B.C. Lions half time show, Dragon Boat Festival, Korean Heritage Festival, Fusion Festival and Canada Day celebrations.
School Teaching
Invite Sun Hang Do to your school! We teach small classrooms, P.E. classes or large assemblies the basics of Sun Hang Do with a focus on fun, safety and positive energy!
Championship Games
The Games bring together the entire Sun Hang Do family for an exciting competition where students from all locations compete in various divisions. This special event helps bring together and strengthen the family spirit of Sun Hang Do.
Movie Night
Sun Hang Do Movie and activity night is a great way to have the kids have a safe fun night out and for the parents to have a relaxing night off! Exciting martial arts training, a fun movie, challenging games and activities, definitely an event you don’t want to miss!
Sun Hang Do Day
Sun Hang Do Martial Arts celebrates its birthday on the first Saturday in July with a big community party. A School Demo Team Challenge and a martial art sports day and family picnic are some of the exciting activities which make the day so special! Hundreds of friends, family and members gather every year to participate in the fun and festivities in this annual summer event! Sun Hang Do was created in 1989 by our Grand Master Kang.
Group Class
Bring your group to Sun Hang Do to experience martial arts training, team building and learn self defense skills in a fun, safe environment! Office groups, sports teams, school classrooms, community clubs and more are all welcome to participate.
Fundraisers
Sun Hang Do is always out supporting the community. Children’s Wish Foundation, BC Children’s Hospital, local food banks, and women shelters are just a few of the great charities and causes that we love to support.

Book a Sun Hang Do birthday party for your child, it will be the most exciting birthday party they will ever have! Fun and exciting martial arts training and games that will energize them and put a big smile on their face! Birthdays are supposed to be fun for parents too! We’ll handle all the headaches so you can relax and celebrate the birthday with your child!
